Pacey Swan Gary Rohan will return to football in the NEAFL on Sunday after coming off the long-term injury list.

Hamstring issues sidelined Rohan for an extended period, but it’s given the 24-year-old time to return to full fitness.

The 24-year-old trained at full pace with his teammates over the past month, ramping up his 2016 preparations.

Coach John Longmire says he’s hoping Rohan will return to the AFL team in the coming weeks.

“He comes off the long-term injury list this week. He has been training for a number of weeks so we would expect him to play for our reserves,” Longmire said on Wednesday.

“We hope that he can start the journey back to playing senior football, and hope it’s not too long, because he is a quality player.”
