Sydney Swans midfielder Josh Kennedy has been withdrawn from Saturday night’s clash with Richmond.

The 27-year-old pulled up sore with a minor hamstring concern following the team’s final training session on Thursday night.

Kennedy’s withdrawal has opened the door for QBE Swans Academy graduate Jack Hiscox to make his AFL debut.

Recruited with pick 38 in the 2014 Draft, Hiscox came to the Club as an elite runner and has used that asset to great effect developing his game in the NEAFL.

The 21-year-old kicked four goals in last week’s win against the Suns Reserves.

The Swans have also made two other changes to the final side to play Richmond, with James Rose and Xavier Richards replacing Brandon Jack and Tyrone Leonardis as emergencies.

Ted Richards and Dean Towers are the Swans' other inclusions for the Round 8 clash at the MCG, with Ben McGlynn (leg) and Dan Robinson (shoulder) missing with injury.
