A familiar face dropped by training on Friday as the players wrapped up their first training week of 2017.

Premiership defender Ted Richards called by Lakeside Oval as the boys went through their paces to see how his former teammates were shaping up for the season ahead.

It was once again temperatures nearing 30 degrees as the players took part in their final skills session of the week which included a mix of running and match simulation.

After being on modified programs prior to Christmas majority of the new draftees joined in the session as they showcased their skills to the coaches.

The Swans will continue to train in Sydney for the next months before heading to Coffs Harbour during February for a pre-season training camp.
