The Sydney Swans take on Port Adelaide in their first clash of the pre-season in Blacktown on Saturday afternoon.

The Power has named a young side with key players including captain Travis Boak, Brad Ebert, Matthew Lobbe, Robbie Gray, Hamish Hartlett, Jay Schulz and Justin Westhoff all poised to watch from the sidelines.

Outside midfielder Jared Polec will play for the first time since Round 5, 2015, after spending much of last season in rehab.

Jimmy Toumpas, Riley Bonner, Aidyn Johnson, Will Snelling and Cameron Hewett will all make their first appearance for the Power.

The Swans named their 29-man squad yesterday with Lance Franklin set to return and six new faces to run out in the red and white for the first time.

Both teams will reveal their three emergency players on Saturday ahead of the clash.
