LAST WEEK’S NEWS

Josh Kennedy (MID, $547,000) is back to his best and has now averaged 110 over the last three weeks. He had a massive 136 on the weekend, thanks to a game high 31 touches.

It’s taken several weeks, but Luke Parker (MID, $496,000) finally showed why Fantasy coaches should have been patient with him as he was back to his best scoring 120. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come from Parker who averaged 103 last year, 13 more than his current average of only 90.

Lance Franklin (FWD, $507,000) was kept quiet by his standards for 86pts but his mate Kurt Tippett (FWD, $376,000) stood up to have his best score for the year of 102pts. Dan Hannebery (MID, $555,000) copped a heavy tag by Daniel Cross which reduced his score to 74.

ON THE RADAR

Now is the time. It has to be now or never. Tom Mitchell (FWD/MID, $464,000) has now scored 101 and 118 over the last two weeks and must be selected sooner rather than later. He is already owned by 15% of coaches and has a break even of 53. He is a magnet and has found the ball 58 times in his two games so far this year. His job security appears to be pretty safe now, so now is the time. Get him in!

WHAT’S COMING UP

The Swans are back at ANZ Stadium this week to take on Geelong. Franklin scored 113 against them last year and Hannebery scored 105. This won’t be an easy game though and the Swans will need to stop Geelong’s captain Joel Selwood who will go for his seventh straight score of 100+ against them this week.

All the best for round seven!
