Swans midfielder Luke Parker is making a charge for the AFL Coaches Association Player of the Year Award after breaking into the top 10 on the overall leaderboard.

Parker and North Melbourne’s Todd Goldstein were judged best afield in the Swans’ 16-point win over the Kangas at Etihad Stadium on Saturday night by head coaches John Longmire and Darren Crocker.
