Sam Reid and Shane Mumford have both been named in the Sydney Swans extended squad for Sunday afternoon’s round 15 match against Melbourne at the MCG.

Reid has not played since he tore his quad in the Swans’ round 9 victory over Collingwood, while Mumford has missed the club’s last two matches with a cheekbone fracture suffered in round 11 against Adelaide at AAMI Stadium.

Swans forward Mitch Morton, who was a late withdrawal from last weekend’s win over Carlton, and Tony Armstrong have also been named in the extended squad, while Xavier Richards, who made his AFL debut as the Swans’ substitute last week, will miss with a quad injury.

Sunday’s match against Melbourne will mark a milestone for midfielder Josh Kennedy, who will play his 100th AFL game – 87 of which will have been for the Sydney Swans since crossing from Hawthorn at the end of 2009.

The final 22 for Sunday afternoon’s game will be announced on sydneyswans.com.au at 5:00pm on Friday, July 5.
