The Sydney Swans host St Kilda at the SCG on Saturday afternoon in Buddy Franklin’s 200th match.

What did you take out of our round 20 match, Fantasy wise?

Lotts:
It’s always good to return from Adelaide with four points in the bank particularly against a Port Adelaide side that was determined to get their season back on track after a few losses recently. While there weren’t any magical 150+ scores from the match, four players were able to crack the ton including Benny McGlynn (FWD/MID $553,214) with 115, Josh Kennedy (MID $555,601) with 110, Luke Parker (FWD/MID $512,519) with 106 and Craig Bird (FWD/MID $444,695) with 102.

Sub-elite Legends: You have already touched on them Lotts but week after week the consistency of our MID/FWD combo in Parker and McGlynn keeps impressing me. They were both relentless around the contest last week and Benny’s three goals certainly helped him top score with 115 points. Benny is owned by less that 10,000 coaches and could be a handy forward point of difference in the upcoming elimination finals.

Who’s your Swans player of the week?

Lotts:
It’s easy to pick the guy that’s top scored but in this instance it’s just too hard to look past Benny McGlynn. The pocket rocket just continues to impress this season and is clearly thriving in his new midfield role. Benny’s averaging 103 Fantasy points a match this year – a career high – and has pulled out some monster scores over 130. Definitely one of the best buys of the year so congrats to anyone who picked him from round 1.

Sub-elite Legends: This week I’m getting around my main man Harry Cunningham (MID $290,858). He is a favourite of mine with the way he goes about it and often takes on roles for the team at the cost of his own game. This week, he worked blisteringly hard to get into space, somehow found an empty pocket of Adelaide Oval all for himself and contributed with 19 disposals, 3 goals and 90 Fantasy points.

Which Swans player would you choose as your captain for the next game?

Lotts:
In his 200th match, it’s got to be Lance Franklin (FWD $500,173) for me this week. While Bud only kicked the two goals last week for 77 Fantasy points, I’m hoping he comes out firing against the Saints on Saturday afternoon. If the weather is kind he could get plenty of opportunities to kick goals and notch up a big Fantasy score. Get on board. It’s only finals time, nothing to worry about!

Sub-elite Legends: Elimination final week. Check. Top 4 opposition. Check. Reliable high scoring captain. Check. Josh Kennedy (MID $555,601) is locked and loaded.

Next up is St Kilda at the SCG, who are the players to look out for from the Saints?

Lotts:
While they’re clearly not having the best of seasons as a team, the Saints still have a number of champions in their side who can pull out big scores on their day and big results – like upsetting Fremantle a couple of weeks ago. You can’t look past their skipper Nick Riewoldt (FWD $484,270) who just keeps on keeping on at nearly 32 years of age. Big Roo is averaging 106 in his past five matches, he runs all day and kicks goals, so plenty to like there. The other player to keep an eye on is former Sydney local Lenny Hayes (MID $495,906) who will play his last match at the SCG after deciding to hang up his boots at the end of the season. Hayes is going out in style averaging 98.4 Fantasy points this year.

Sub-elite Legends: Saints fans love the little hard nut Jack Steven (MID $416,041) and I can understand why. He runs and tackles hard, as well as possessing explosive speed out of congestion, and could be a handful on Saturday. Ex-Swans man Adam Schneider (FWD $357,361) is another who worries me, even on inconsistent days, he can pop up and have an impact on games and is coming off an impressive showing including 95 points against the Bulldogs last week.

Any changes this week for your team?

Lotts:
It’s hard to fathom, but it might be time to get rid of Stevie J (MID $539,903) after a couple of below par weeks and now a foot injury. So I’m going to bite the bullet and swap him for Travis Boak (MID $508,912) who had a blinder against us last week with 144 points and is playing his 150th match against Gold Coast this week – a side that he’s scored 116 and 152 against in his past two matches. That’ll be the only trade for me this week though and here’s hoping for another score over 2300 to finish out the year.

Sub-elite Legends: Everyone is feeling the pain of missing Stevie J, I have double trouble with Jimmy Bartel (DEF/MID $477,362) also missing with a corked thigh. Thankfully I had $202K in the bank so I have gone for a double premium swap of point of difference players. I bought in Matty Priddis (MID $578,667) and the bearded man Nick Malceski (DEF $466,896) and everything is on the line this week. I’ve got high hopes for another plus 2300 score this week and It’s probably important for the readers to know that I pipped you by 2 points last week with a very healthy 2352.
