Luke Parker has been joined by teammates Tom Mitchell and Kurt Tippett in the AFL.com.au Team of the Week for Round 2.

Parker starred again for the Swans on the weekend against Carlton to be named on the interchange backing up his season opening appearance in the team.

After 34 disposals, nine tackles and eight clearances against the Blues Mitchell earned himself a position in the side as a follower.

Tippett was named alongside Parker on the interchange bench.

Largely overshadowed by star teammates, Mitchell is closing the gap after his 34 touches, nine tackles, eight clearances and eight inside 50s against Carlton.
