The Sydney Swans have traded Jesse White to Collingwood in exchange for pick 44 at next month's AFL National Draft.

White, 25, was recruited by the Swans with the 79th pick in the 2006 draft.

He played 71 matches in seven seasons at the Swans.

Swans General Manager – Football Dean Moore said the club wished Jesse all the best for his future.

“At the end of the season, Jesse asked the club to be traded for increased opportunities and we’re pleased to facilitate the trade today for Jesse,” Moore said.

“We wish Jesse all the best at Collingwood and thank him for his contribution to the Sydney Swans.”
