The Swans main training sessions of the pre-season occur every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, but that doesn't mean the players spend the rest of their week relaxing.

Between skill and game plan sessions, players can be found around the club working on their strength, conditioning and stability making sure their bodies are in peak condition for the upcoming season.

SwansTV cameras ventured down to the club gym this morning to find a group of players partaking in a gruelling weights session. 

In just six weeks the Swans take to Etihad Stadium to face Geelong and St Kilda in the opening series of the NAB Cup and all the sweat and grimaces will seem worthwhile.

Until then, the players will have to keep pulling their weight in a literal sense.
