Cynthia Hamilton joined the Swans with the club’s third selection in the 2022 AFLW Draft and pick 11 overall. Touted as one of the best NSW/ACT talents of her draft year, the talented forward/midfielder from the Queanbeyan Tigers was an all-Australian in the 2021 NAB AFLW U19 Championships. Her breakout in the senior side saw Hamilton go on to win the inaugural Sydney Swans AFLW Club Champion. The 22-year-old was named one of two new vice-captains for the 2026 season, alongside Sofia Hurley.
