AFLW season kicks off this weekend
The 2023 AFLW season is finally here, and our women’s side will kick off their campaign at North Sydney Oval this Sunday.
"We created some really special memories last year at North Sydney Oval, so to play our opening two games of the season there is a highlight, and hopefully we will see plenty of red and white at our three home games at Henson Park too,” Sydney Swans Executive General Manager - AFLW, Kate Mahony said.
The team had a successful pre-season campaign, taking out wins against the Gold Coast Suns and Carlton.
Celebrate Father’s Day at the footy
There’s plenty to love about North Sydney so why not plan Father’s Day on the northside of the bridge.
Visit The Greens or Blues Point Road for lunch before heading to North Sydney Oval to see our AFLW side in action.
First bounce is from 3:05pm and tickets are just $10 for adults. Or gift your dad a membership to access the games all season long!

AFLW Marn Grook Guernsey unveiled
The official Marn Grook guernsey for the AFLW side was revealed overnight, designed by current Sydney Swans player and proud Ningy Ningy woman Aliesha Newman.
Newman was presented the jumper by Bloods champion Michael O’Loughlin and discussed the significance of the design.
“[The design] is based around community and connection and there are a lot of elements,” she said.
“I spoke to a few Elders here in Sydney to try and get an understanding of what they are about within their own community and putting that into the jumper.”
