Ruckman Mike Pyke has been named in the Sydney Swans extended squad for Sunday’s round 12 clash against the Gold Coast Suns at Metricon Stadium.

If selected, the 30-year-old will play his first match since suffering a hamstring strain in the Swans’ round seven win over the Brisbane Lions.

Speedsters Brandon Jack and Gary Rohan have also been added to the extended squad of 25 for Sunday’s match.

Defender Dane Rampe, who was subbed out of last Thursday’s match against Geelong with a knee injury, remains in the squad but will need to prove his fitness in tomorrow morning’s training session.

Sunday’s clash will mark a milestone for defender Heath Grundy, who will play his 150th career match and qualify for Sydney Swans life membership.

The final team to face Gold Coast will be announced on sydneyswans.com.au Friday at 5:00pm.
