We take a look into the crystal ball with just one game remaining in the home and away season to look at the likely scenarios in week one of the finals.

60 points (15 wins, six losses) 124.1 per cent

The run home:
Rd 23: Gold Coast at the SCG

If the Swans win next week:
- They remain in fourth place if Hawthorn beats Carlton
- They will climb to third if Hawthorn is upset by Carlton

If they lose next week:

- They will drop out of the top four if one of the Western Bulldogs or Richmond wins
- They can finish as low as sixth if both those clubs win

Coach says:
"You want to get to this point of the year and every year you would like to get yourself in the same situation where you control your own desitny as far as finishing where you want to finish in terms of the top four. It is a big challenge to get there, it is a big challenge to do that and we have one game to go next week. We don't want to rely on the percentage, we want to rely upon a good, strong brand of footy that gives us a win next week. It has been good in the last couple of weeks that when we have had teams where we have been on top we have been able to finish the game off strongly." John Longmire - August 30, 2015
