The Sydney Swans first to fourth year players have sweltered through extreme heat on day two of their Development Camp.

After an early morning weights session it was a day full of activity for the group as they took part in raft building, canoeing, and a bush trail walk.

With temperatures soaring above 35 degrees it was certainly a test of the players mental and physical stamina as they competing in teams against one another.

Third year Swan James Rose said the camp had provided a good opportunity for the players to integrate the new recruits into the Club.

“We have got to know the young guys so it has been a really good opportunity to get away from the club and get to know the new recruits a bit better."

"It has been really good so far doing all the activities with the guys and the new guys seem like a good bunch of boys."

During the afternoon bush trail a number of rules were set, with a penalty of 20 push ups set, to test the mental resillience of the group in the soaring heat.

See some of the photos from the bush trail walk below.

Push ups were just one of the many penalties for broken rules.

The boys were forced to carry the rope and a football for the entire trail.

There was even some time for tug of war.
