Sydney Swans members and supporters will be treated to the biggest scoreboard in the southern hemisphere next season with the SCG installing new and improved videoboards.

The SCG is currently upgrading the Dally Messenger Stand scoreboard which will increase its size to 443.5m2, up from 272m2, while the Churchill Stand screen is also being improved.

The scoreboards will provide new and improved visuals adding to the game-day experience for supporters at Sydney home games.

Sydney Swans Head of Customer and Community, Natalie Fagg, says the Swans have been working hard with the SCG Trust to better the stadium experience.

“We are constantly looking for ways to improve the match-day experience for our members and supporters and the improved scoreboards will be a great addition to the stadium for season 2019 and beyond,” Fagg said.

“The new scoreboards will create a visual experience never seen before at the SCG, which will complement the audio upgrade recently undertaken.

“The improved scoreboards are one of a number of new initiatives Swans fans can look forward to at the SCG next season.”
