Making news at the Swans this week…

Sydney Swans fans are encouraged to wear red to Sunday’s clash with Melbourne in support of the inaugural #RedDay for Redkite.

The Swans are celebrating a 15-year partnership with the organisation, which supports children and young people with cancer.

Sydney will have to make at least two changes for the match with Harry Marsh and Kurt Tippett out injured.

Sam Naismith, Tom Derickx and Toby Nankervis are in contention to replace Tippett in the ruck, while Ted Richards, Tom Papley and George Hewett are also available for selection.

And Sunday’s clash will mark a milestone for defender Heath Grundy, who will run out for his 200th AFL game.

The No. 39 was recruited from SANFL club Norwood in the 2005 rookie draft and made his debut playing at full-forward in Round 16, 2006.
