Dominant displays from Brandon Jack and Abe Davis have helped the NEAFL Swans storm home to a commanding 65-point win over Gold Coast on Saturday.

Jack and Davis enjoyed impressive all-round games, each collecting 30 disposals and booting three goals in the 18.12 (120) to 8.7 (55) win at Blacktown International Sportspark.

Leading by a point at the first break, the home side then held the Suns at bay during the second term before pulling away the other side of half-time.

The NEAFL Swans piled on 11 goals to five in a dominant second half with Jack Hiscox proving lively with four of them.

It was a string of five-straight goals in the final term which put the game beyond doubt.

Coach Rhyce Shaw, who declared the game as the NEAFL Swans' "biggest test to date" during the week, said his side got better as the game wore on.

“Gold Coast bought a lot of pressure to the game,” he said. “(But) the boys seemed to handle that really well.

“It was going to be hard early and we expected that. The boys went with it and towards the end of the game we got away, so it was a really pleasing effort from them.”

QBE Sydney Swans Academy top-up Matt Wilson provided another avenue to goal (four goals) while Dean Towers (28 disposals), Jordan Foote (25), Nic Newman (23) and James Rose (15 and 2 goals) all contributed.

Saturday's win strengthened the NEAFL Swans' position on top of the ladder. They sit a game clear of Aspley after NT Thunder, who was also a game behind, had the bye over the weekend.

The NEAFL Swans will turn their attention to Saturday's clash with Canberra Demons at Manuka Oval. The newly formed Demons are still searching for their first win of 2016.
