Jarrad McVeigh's return?

"He’s got to train (Tuesday) and train on Thursday.

"We’ll make the decision when all the facts are in front of us. Until those sessions are out of the way we won’t making any decisions.

"He has obviously been training well, he is right in the frame and he’s an experienced player.

"I take faith in what he says. He has played a lot of football, he’s the co-captain of the club, he understands the importance of the call he makes whether he’s right or not.

"He has a big say in whether he plays or not."

Sam Reid and Gary Rohan's fitness

Sam is probably a month way. We need to get a solid few weeks of running into him before we’ll consider him for the senior team.

Gary Rohan is training now and training really well. He missed most of the pre-season. Being the type of player he is, he is pretty dynamic, that he gets as much training under his belt as he possibly can.

We’re confident when he gets back into the senior team, he’ll be a strong contributor.

Kurt Tippett's return to Adelaide

"He hasn’t been at the Crows for four years. I think the Adelaide players said (on Monday) that they’re not thinking about it either.

"I won’t be speaking to him about it.

"He has been in good form. Our rucks have been building that good relationship between each other. They’ll be tested again this week with Sam Jacobs. He’s a really good player.

"As far as we’re concerned, going into this week, it’s all about how we account for Jacobs."

Adelaide’s potency

"They’re the highest scoring team in the competition. They’ve shown an incredible ability to transition the footy from the defensive 50, all the way through and kick goals.

"It’s not just about our defenders versus their forwards. It’s a full-ground defensive mechanism we must put in place because they’re able to transfer the ball easily and kick goals.

"They’ve got a great mix of small and tall options and that makes them a dangerous mix if they get too much supply. Our objective, as it is every week, is to restrict that supply."

Nick Smith to Eddie Betts?

"There’s no doubt he will spend a bit of time on him. Nick has played on Eddie a fair bit. We know Nick looks forward to those challenges.

"He prepares the same every week, that’s the sort of character he is. He is a thorough professional. Regardless of the opposition, he understands the importance of his job."

The Swans’ depth

"We’ve been really pleased with our reserves team and their consistent form over the past month.

"They’ve done a terrific job and have been playing a really consistent brand of football against quality opposition, and that has given us some real depth.

"If needed this week, next week or in the coming weeks, we’re confident any of those boys can do a good job if selected in the senior team."

The deliberate out of bounds interpretation

"It has had an impact on the game. I think players, as most things, will adjust to it and there are still adjustments being made.

"In general I think it has been a positive for the game.

"Once the game, the players, the coaches adjust it’ll become less of an issue. UI think the crows are appreciating it and started to get educated about it as well.

Last touch rule?

"Lets just see how this goes.

"I like the way it has been umpired, there’s probably been a couple of grey areas that may have been a bit tough to call at times."

50,000 members

"There's a couple of things to this.

"To say we had 37,000 people at a game at the SCG against our cross-town rivals is fantastic. 30-odd years ago when we first got up here we never could have imagined that. It’s incredible for football in NSW.

"To have 50,000 members is an amazing achievement. The players are really exited about the following that we’ve got. It’s fantastic to say each and every one has contributed to what we’re about on the weekend.

"We’re just do grateful we’ve got that following now."
