The Sydney Swans and Principal Partner QBE are celebrating their 30-year partnership at the SCG today when the Swans take on Port Adelaide.

CURTAIN-RAISER: NEAFL – Round 19
Due to Sydney’s inclement weather, today’s NEAFL match between the Sydney Swans and Brisbane has been relocated to Blacktown International Sportspark. The match starts at 9.45am.


QBE WARM-UP TEES
To celebrate the 30-year partnership between the Swans and QBE, players will complete today’s warm-up in a special t-shirt. The QBE themed tees will feature the logos of seven QBE Foundation and charity partners and four Sydney Swans charities, with the t-shirts to be signed and auctioned to help raise vital funds.

QBE LEGENDS MATCH
Former Swans champions and QBE brokers will go head to head in the annual QBE Legends match ahead of the main game today. The match kicks off at 1.15pm.  

Most Games, pair of brothers – McVeigh family
The McVeigh brothers are due to draw level with the Wakelin brothers in seventh spot for most games by a pair of brothers in VFL/AFL history with Mark having played 232 games for Essendon and Jarrad so far having played 280 games for the Sydney Swans. The leading pairs of brothers in history are: Madden (710 games comprising 378 for Simon and 332 for Justin), Nankervis (578 games comprising 325 for Ian and 253 for Bruce), Cornes (555 games comprising 255 for Chad and 300 for Kane).

50 consecutive games – Dan Hannebery
Hannebery has played 49 consecutive games for the Club since Round 20, 2014.

MEMBER RECOGNITION ROUND
Round 20 is Member Recognition Round for the Sydney Swans as we celebrate those who join us in red and white every week. The Swans would like to thank all 56,523 members – a new record for the Club – for their continuous support and loyalty this year and for many seasons to come.
