The Sydney Swans Football Club offers its deepest condolences to the family of former player Donald Bradman Earl who passed away in late April this year.

Earl played 15 senior games for South Melbourne from 1952 to 1955 and remained a member right through until his passing.

Earl’s journey with South began in 1949 in the fourths, before he graduated through the thirds in 1950-51, and made his senior debut against Geelong in round nine, 1952, wearing jumper number 12.

Earl represented the club in a VFL 2nd XVIII in 1952 and won the reserves Best and Fairest in 1955.

The Club extends its sympathy to the entire Earl family.
