“Tom is back to full training which is really pleasing,” Harley told the HCF Injury Update.

“He is available for selection given he is off the long-term injury list and needs some conditioning training now.

“The NEAFL don’t have a game next week but he would be available for selection so we will sit down as a match committee to work out the best way to track his return to play.”

In a further boost for the Swans, Isaac Heeney has also resumed training after overcoming glandular fever.

A return date for the promising youngster however hasn’t been set.

“Isaac is tracking really well which is pleasing for everyone and he has now started to join in training,” Harley added.

“He has no symptoms whatsoever in regards to fatigue and his vital signs are down and back to where they should be which is positive.

“He will ramp up his training with the group this week and we will reassess next week.

“We are still reluctant to put a hard and fast return date on Isaac but it is certainly more imminent than it has been before.”
