The Sydney Swans are encouraging all supporters to show their support for our Redkite family at this Saturday’s match by taking part in a very special activity at three-quarter time at the SCG.

#SwansRedDay is a day to celebrate the long-standing partnership between the Sydney Swans and Redkite – an Australian charity that provides support for children and young people with cancer, and their families.

Amongst the sea of red in the stands of the SCG on Saturday evening, there will be some very special guests from Redkite including families touched by cancer, the amazing volunteers who selflessly give up their time and raise much-needed funds, Redkite staff, ambassadors and celebrities who help raise awareness for the cause.

During the three-quarter time break on Saturday, we encourage all fans to keep their eye on the big screen and have their phone torches ready. When prompted, fans can take part in the #SwansRedDay Wave of Support, by waving their torches to the Redkite family who will be seated in the upper Victor Trumper Stand at the Randwick end of the SCG.

This wave will not only be a wonderful way recognise those special guests at the game, but also the many thousands of individuals and families who have been touched by Redkite and their incredible support services for more than 30 years.

The Sydney Swans are very proud of our ongoing partnership with Redkite and we would like to give all members and fans the chance to show their support by taking part in the first-ever #SwansRedDay Wave of Support.
