The ladder-leading Sydney Swans have welcomed a swathe of prime-time matches to close out the home-and-away season, after the AFL today announced the time slots for Rounds 16-22.

The Swans will feature under lights on a Thursday or Friday night on four occasions during that period.

After a season of record crowds at the SCG so far, the remaining rounds are headlined by a Friday night home blockbuster against the Western Bulldogs in Round 17, with the match to become the club’s 2026 Pride Game. Since 2016, Sydney has been proud to host Pride Game at the SCG, celebrating inclusivity with the LGBTIQA+ community.

The clash with the Bulldogs is one of three massive home SCG matches for the red and white, with Sydney to also host a standalone Friday night game against the Adelaide Crows in Round 19 and Port Adelaide at the family-friendly timeslot of 4:15pm on Saturday, August 8 in Round 22.

Rounds 16 to 19 will be Kids Footy Month, a month-long celebration dedicated to creating memories for kids and families. It means kids aged 14 years old and under can access free tickets* for Sydney’s clashes against the Western Bulldogs and Adelaide.

The much-anticipated Sydney Derby XXXIII is set for Saturday July 25 at 4:35pm at ENGIE Stadium.

Included in the latest fixture release are three interstate road trips. The Swans will have a tantalising matchup against Brisbane at the Gabba in Round 16 on Thursday night, take a trip to Optus Stadium in Perth to take on Fremantle in Round 18, and one game at Marvel Stadium against St. Kilda in Round 21.

Sydney Swans CEO Matthew Pavlich said the club was pleased with its fixture and there was a lot to look forward to.

“We’re thrilled to have been given some huge games in great time slots, which is fitting given the exciting football the team has played so far this season,” Pavlich said.

“Kicking off some cracking matches at home is our annual Pride Game against the Western Bulldogs at the SCG in Round 17, which is one we really look forward to, to celebrate with the LGBTIQA+ community.

“We are achieving record attendance at home to start the season, so to be given a mix of games under lights and in family friendly timeslots is reward for our members and fans who have shown us great support.

"With these marquee games now locked in, it’s not too late to jump on board as a member for the remainder of what looks to be a really exciting year for our club."
