Sydney Swans forward Tom Papley spoke to the media in Melbourne on Friday, ahead of Sydney's twilight clash with Geelong on Saturday.

How the team is feeling about Geelong

"Excited, massive game, biggest test in footy, Geelong inand we can't wait for it."

On the team's record at GMHBA Stadium

"Sure, I think early days in my career we had some huge wins down there. I think Kieran Jack's milestone is one that comes to mind. I'm not sure why we play that ground so well but we've got good history there and I look forward to getting down there."

On two teams playing at the top of the ladder

"Yeah, sure. I think when you play any team that's top of the ladder, you build yourself up for it. It's still a big game and when you look at the ladder, if we get a win here it's important for the season and it's all it is for them."

On the win over Collingwood

"It was a good game, they gave it to us. We did something different, blocked the corridor and we had to go around them and we adjusted to that. It was a good game. Friday night at the SCG was pumping, the crowd got us over the line."

On Nick Blakey

"Yeah, he's huge. Does things that not many other players can do. Marks, runs, bounces, amazing player. One of my great mates and loves seeing him go well. He's also just, his leadership and maturity over the last couple of years has just come on and that's definitely helped his game."

On Geelong player Tom Stewart

"He's a great player, has been for a number of years, consistent. He was fantastic last week, we'll see what we do with him. We've got a meeting coming up in Geelong so we'll see what we do, not quite sure yet but we'll play our way and see what happens."

On Geelong players tasked with shutting down Swans stars

"I think you don't want to be dictated to by them. I think that's important, we play our way. Isaac's a fantastic player, he's got no doubt one of them will probably go to him. It's important to keep playing the team way and that's what we'll try to do. Each team, if they get tagged, they obviously try to get to another player and block and things like that. We'll look to do those things but we also can't be dictated to and play our way and do what we do."
