Sydney Swans key forward Charlie Curnow has been named in the 2026 All-Australian team after a stellar first season in the red and white.
Curnow kicked 69 goals in the 2026 home-and-away season, to earn his third All-Australian blazer and third Coleman medal.
The 29-year-old averaged three goals, 11 disposals and seven score involvements a game.
He booted a season-high eight goals in Round 12 against Richmond, also kicking hauls of five or more majors on five occasions.
Curnow credited the support of his coaches and teammates for the honour.
“At the start I was super unsure to what was going to happen, getting to the new club, playing a bit of a different game style,” Curnow said.
“I was very fortunate to have Coxy, supporting me all the way and then I've loved working with Jeremy Laidler as the forward line coach.
“I was super lucky that my teammates, they really took me on as their own and made me feel really comfortable from the start, they sent the ball down to me, so I have to give thanks to the defenders and midfielders.”
The 2026 All Australian Selection Panel consisted of Andrew Dillon (Chair), Eddie Betts, Simon Black, Jude Bolton, Abbey Holmes, Glen Jakovich, Laura Kane, David Mundy, Joel Selwood and Greg Swann.
