It is a big week for the Sydney Swans AFLW side, who will travel to Coffs Harbour to take on Euro-Yroke (St Kilda) on Saturday afternoon as part of the AFLW Indigenous Round.

SWANS RETURN TO COFFS HARBOUR
The undefeated Sydney Swans are set to travel to Coffs Harbour this weekend as they prepare to take on Euro-Yroke at C.ex Coffs International Stadium on Saturday, August 29, from 4:35 pm.
After a historic win against Essendon last weekend in front of a record crowd of over 16,600, the Swans are flying high as they head up north to take on Euro-Yroke, who have started their 2026 campaign with losses to Carlton and Geelong.

SWANS TAKE PART IN AFLW INDIGENOUS ROUND
The Sydney Swans AFLW side will celebrate Sir Doug Nicholls Round and AFLW Indigenous Round from this weekend.
This year’s celebration will take place over Round 3 (29 - 30 Aug) and Round 4 (5 - 6 Sept) of the 2026 NAB AFLW Season, celebrating the excellence and contribution of First Nations people to Australian Rules Football.
Zippy Fish, a proud Noongar, Wongi, Larrakia woman from Western Australia, is extremely proud to represent her culture and history this AFLW Indigenous Round.
“I'm running out there for me, for my family and for my culture," Fish said.
"But also for the little girls that are watching and that aspire to be an elite athlete one day. It’s really a privilege”.
INJURY UPDATE
Confirmed by AFLW senior coach Colin O'Riordan, Taylor Smith has been ruled out for the next 3-4 weeks after suffering a fractured wrist midway through the third quarter of the Swans' 24-point win over Essendon.
“Hopefully it can be earlier, but at the minute it looks like 3-4 [weeks],” O'Riordan said to the media Thursday morning.
Meanwhile, multiple Swans will undergo testing in this week's main team training, including Laura Gardiner (foot), Holly Cooper (elbow) and Ash Van Loon (calf).
VFL TEAM PREPARES FOR ELIMINATION FINAL
The Sydney Swans VFL side will head to Melbourne to face Port Melbourne in the second Smithy’s VFL Elimination Final as the team looks to continue their resilient finals run.
After a resounding 68-point win over Frankston in the first VFL Wildcard Final at Blacktown International Sports Park on Saturday, August 22, the red and white will now head to ETU Stadium this weekend.
The two sides finished sixth and seventh, respectively, on the VFL ladder, separated by only two points, though in this year's lone meeting in Round Two, it was the Swans who got the better over the Borough by 21 points.

QUALIFYING FINAL TICKETS ON SALE
The Sydney Swans men will be back in action next weekend in the second of two qualifying finals against the third-placed Brisbane Lions.
Hosted at the SCG next Saturday at 3:15, fans and members can purchase their tickets for the Qualifying Final.
