Ahead of Sydney's Round 3 game against Euro-Yroke in Coffs Harbour, midfielder Molly Thomas spoke to the media at captain's run on Friday.

On the positive start to the season

"We've obviously got two wins under our belt, which is really good. But we've got plenty more games to come this season, so we don't want to get too ahead of ourselves. The girls, we've all been training really hard, so hopefully we can go out there and get another win.:

On what to expect from Euro-Yroke

(They are) really good around the contest. Good, hard, intense, so hopefully we'll match it and just get them on the outside.  Make sure we have numbers around the contest at all times, so we can get our handball chains out and get going."

On her excitement to play her second AFLW game this weekend

"So excited, yeah. Obviously to play in front of 16,500 people at the SCG is pretty incredible. So hopefully go out here and put on a show again."

On the homework the side had done on Euro-Yroke

"Yeah, most definitely. So we go out and we do our review and we do our team review and then a little bit of off-road review to hopefully see what we need to do and what we can improve on as well."

On the importance of going to regional towns

"Coming from a regional perspective, it's good to get out there and promote women's footy as a whole and give back to the community because they've put so much effort and time into supporting us as well."

On playing with Holly Cooper now

"Yeah, so we have a similar journey. We drove the M1 every week to training and back. So it's pretty good that we get to now go out there and play with each other and get the footy in our hands."
