Injury Updates

Joel Amartey has successfully resumed full team training, has completed key training benchmarks and will be a test to return to play this week, while Justin McInerney has returned to full team training and is continuing to increase his training and football workloads as part of his return to play progression. He is on track for a return next week. 

In the AFLW, four players have been listed as tests ahead of our Round 4 match against the Western Bulldogs.

Taylor Smith's wrist injury has been assessed by a specialist and determined to be stable, while Holly's elbow has progressed well from last week. Tanya Kennedy and Jas Grierson are also tests for this weekend.

AFLW Indigenous Round Cultural Gift Exchange

The Sydney Swans and Euro-Yroke began AFLW Indigenous Round with an exchange of gifts at C.Ex Coffs International Stadium on Saturday afternoon - a gesture of respect before the two sides went head-to-head in Round 3.

The Swans gift was an artwork designed by Tulli Stevens - an emerging contemporary artist who draws inspiration from the beach and bush of Gumbaynggirr country.

A proud Aboriginal women and descendant of the Dharug people from Sydney, the design depicted graceful movements of the ocean, where waves rise and fall in harmony and wind blows in sweeping curves - representing its invisible yet powerful presence.
