Sydney will remain in Western Australia to take on Fremantle at Optus Stadium for Round 13 of the 2020 AFL Season.

The Swans are headed west on Friday ahead of a 16-day stay in WA that will also see the team play cross-town rival GWS for Sydney Derby XIX.

The match against Fremantle will take place on Saturday, August 22 for Sir Doug Nicholls Round – a celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture.

The Sydney Swans will wear the Black Swans guernsey for the match.

The fixture for the remaining five rounds of the season will be announced in the coming weeks.
