Sydney Swans forward Tom Papley has tonight been selected in the 2021 AFL All Australian Team.

The small forward has been included in the team for the first time in his career and in 2021 is the only Swan to be included in the final team for the 2021 season.

Teammates Lance Franklin, Callum Mills and Luke Parker were included in the 40-man squad that was announced earlier this week but did not make the final team.

Papley has had a remarkable year in 2021, playing 22 games, the lively forward has kicked 41 goals for the Swans and was proud of his selection.

"It's a huge honour," Papley said.

"I couldn't do it without the boys kicking it to me."

Papley will play a big role in this Saturday's Elimination Final against the Giants and has his focus purely on that.

"It's going to be a great match, we always look forward to playing the Giants and this is what you play footy for and I can't wait."
