The Sydney Swans VFL side will face Brisbane Lions at the SCG on Sunday, May 1 in their Round 5 fixture.
After a bye last week, the Swans VFL side will be looking to improve on their 2 win, 2 loss record to start the season.
VFL Head Coach Jeremy Laidler has named a side that includes young guns Joel Amartey, James Bell, Dylan Stephens and Saw Wicks who have all enjoyed strong stints in the senior squad in 2022.
With impressive and busy performances to kick off their 2022 campaign, Ryan Clarke and Lewis Taylor along with draftees Matthew Roberts, Lachlan Rankin and Corey Warner will be looking to continue to impress.
Defender Colin O’Riordan is set to return from an eye injury sustained earlier in the year.
The Swans VFL side will be a curtain raiser on the SCG ahead of the Swans AFL clash against Brisbane with first bounce at 1:05pm
