Following Round 9 of the AFL competition, Sydney Swans co-captain Callum Mills leads the Carey-Bunton Medal

While no Swans polled votes from the coaches in the defeat to the Gold Coast Suns at the SCG, Mills still leads the competition for the best NSW player in the AFL this season.

Mills leads on 31 votes ahead of Gold Coast’s Jarrad Witts (20) and Todd Marshall (19). Swans forward Isaac Heeney sits equal fourth with Adelaide’s Taylor Walker with 17 votes.
