The Sydney Swans have farewelled VFL Head Coach Jeremy Laidler who has decided to take up a coaching opportunity with the GWS GIANTS.

Laidler joined the club as a player in 2014 following previous stints at Geelong and Carlton and make an immediate impact but at the end of the 2017 season, he hung up the boots and transitioned into the Swans coaching staff.

Laidler has done an excellent job over the past five years as Head Coach of the club's NEALF/VFL team to fast track the development of our young players, and support our senior coaching group.

The club are extremely grateful for all of his hard work and his significant contribution and wish Jeremy, his wife Amber and son Will all the best for the future.
