The countdown to the 2023 season is well and truly on with the AFL today announcing the Round 1 Smithy’s VFL fixture, commencing the weekend of 24 March.
The Sydney Swans VFL side will take on the Box Hill Hawks on Sunday, 26 March at Tramway Oval, Moore Park.
The match coincides with Round 2 of the AFL season and the Swans' first home game at the SCG against Hawthorn, setting up an exciting double-header for fans. Not a member? Gain entry into the Red Zone for home games, here.

Entry for Round 1 of the VFL against the Hawks is free.
All matches in the 2023 VFL and VFLW seasons will be live streamed free via the AFL website and AFL Live Official App. Live scoring and stats will also be made available.
The 2023 VFL season will again feature 21 teams from Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.
