Bio

Ted Richards was traded to the Sydney Swans from Essendon after playing just 33 games in four seasons with the Bombers. After debuting in the red and white in 2006, Richards went on to play 228 games for the club, including the 2012 premiership. His career featured awards for Most Improved and Best Clubman in 2007, runner-up to Josh Kennedy for the 2012 Club Champion Award and inclusion in the 2012 All-Australian squad. After a decade with the Swans, Richards retired in 2016. The star was also inducted into the UNSW Sports Hall of Fame in 2018.
