Damian Truslove has named his side ahead of a Round 17 clash on home soil. The Sydney Swans VFL team return to Moore Park this week off the back of a thrilling win against Richmond.

The reserves side will miss Sam Wicks after his impressive run last Friday who finished with 24 disposals and four majors. The team will also be without Corey Warner who plays his third senior game in the AFL tonight.

Into the team arrives defensive pressure from Aaron Francis as well as seasoned rucks Tom Hickey and Peter Ladhams. Ladhams will return to play for the first time since sustaining an ankle injury in the AFL during Round 10 against North Melbourne.

QBE Academy product Indhi Kirk will re-join the VFL after representing the Allies in the U18 AFL National Championship last week.

Truslove believes that last week's win against the Tigers will ignite momentum in his side for the rest of the season.

“I think that win will give us a lot of confidence going into the rest of the season, I think the boys will grow,” Truslove said in a post-match interview

“After a win, you may tend to work hard and train harder and then you get excited about the next game."

The Swans will face the Footscray Bulldogs on Friday, July 14 at Lakeside Oval (Tramway) from 12:05pm. Entry is free.

Can't make it? All the action will be live streamed free via the AFL website, AFL Live Official App and VFL App.
