There were plenty of senior Swans in action on Sunday but it didn't help the side in their Round 22 clash with Werribee at Lakeside Oval, going down by 33 points to the equal top of the table side, in their final game of the season.

Young midfielder Corey Warner impressed in the contest, gaining a team-high disposals with 26, also slotting a goal. Defender Lachlan Rankin had his name on the scoreboard twice, kicking two majors from 18 touches.

Will Gould finished with two goals as well.

Following stints in the seniors, Matt Roberts returned to the VFL to finish with a team-high six clearances in his 20 disposals, while the experienced Ryan Clarke had five and 21 touches and Peter Ladhams had four clearances along with 21 hitouts and 13 disposals.

Defender Lewis Melican was busy with 19 disposals, while ruckman Lachie McAndrew had 18 hitouts and 10 disposals.

Other senior Swans in action included Caleb Mitchell (nine disposals), Hugo Hall-Kahan (eight), William Edwards (eight), Cameron Owen (eight), Jacob Konstanty (six) and Jaiden Magor (five).

The Swans VFL side finished their season with four wins from 18 appearances this season.
