The 2024 Toyota AFL Premiership season fixture is here.... and Swans members and fans, there is plenty to be excited about as we enter our 150th year in style!

As you would have seen yesterday, we are kicking off the 2024 season in the harbour city and Sydney will turn red and white for Opening Round, facing Melbourne on Thursday March 7 at the SCG in a season opener which will celebrate our 150 year birthday celebrations.

The following week, we head to our club’s birthplace for the first time in our 150th milestone year, playing the reigning premiers, Collingwood in a Friday night blockbuster at the MCG. There might be a bit of extra spice to this fixture too with it potentially being the first game at the MCG for Swans recruits and former Pies Brodie Grundy and Taylor Adams - a place they know all too well.

11 home games at the SCG will light up the harbour city including three family friendly afternoon games as well as a blockbuster Friday night game against Carlton and a Saturday night fixture against Essendon - an opponent that we have a bit of reputation with for entertaining and nail-biting clashes.

Speaking of clashes.... we love a Sydney Derby and we will host the other Sydney team in Sydney Derby XXVII in Round 8 for Saturday afternoon footy. The return Derby will see us head west for a twilight fixture at GIANTS Stadium in Round 15 and we are sure there will be plenty of red and white filling the stands.

Our Friday night home game in Round 10 against Carlton will mark one of the highlight's on our calendar, Marn Grook at the SCG, a celebration of the contribution of Indigenous people to our game.

The club’s annual Pride Game will once again be celebrated at the SCG as we celebrate inclusivity and the LGBTIQA+ community with plenty of colour and fun ensured. The match-up for this game will be confirmed in the New Year and we look forward to welcoming everyone to the SCG for our Pride party!

Swans members and fans all around the country will also have their chance to watch the team in action as we visit fives states with six games in Melbourne, three in Adelaide and one game each in Brisbane and Perth. One of the fixtures in Adelaide will see the Swans play in the Adelaide Hills for the first time, taking on the West Coast Eagles as part of the AFL's Gather Round.

Rounds 16-24 are a floating fixture at this stage, with opponents and venues locked in but times and dates to be confirmed during the season.

So get excited and get your membership sorted, it's the BEST way to to watch every minute, every second of the action and ensure your place at some blockbuster matches in 2024!
