The 2024 AFL Fixture has dropped, and there are less than 100 days until Opening Night. After our home clash with Melbourne there will be plenty to stick around for with exciting match ups all around the country. 

Opening Night: Melbourne, Thursday March 7 - HOME 

We kick off our 150th celebration year and another heart-stopping season with a Thursday night clash with Melbourne on Opening Night at the SCG. 

As must-attend if you: want to experience a must-see game. Season kick-off doesn’t happen at the SCG often! 

Round 1: Collingwood, Friday March 15 - AWAY 

The excitement continues as we take on out fierce rivals in Collingwood under Friday night lights at the MCG. 

A must-attend if you: are a mad South Melbourne fan.  

Round 2: Essendon, Saturday March 23 - HOME 

In front of a home crowd, we will play Essendon in a Saturday night blockbuster. Just single digits have separated these teams in their last two outings. 

A must-attend if you: want edge-of-your-seat excitement. 

Round 3: Richmond, March 31 - AWAY 

We’re back at the MCG for an Easter Sunday clash. Who will take home the chocolates? 

A must-attend if you: love a Sunday session, or a long weekend in Melbourne. 

Round 4: West Coast Eagles, April 6 - AWAY 

Join us in the Adelaide Hills for Gather Round as we take on the West Coast Eagles. We made history the last time we met. Can we do it again? 

A must-attend if you: want to make a day of it.

Round 6: Gold Coast Suns, April 21 - HOME 

After a bye in Round 5 we return to the SCG to take on the Gold Coast Suns on a balmy Autumn afternoon. It’s at a family-friendly timeslot too for a day out at the footy. 

A must-attend if you: want to bring the whole family to the footy. 

Round 7: Hawthorn, April 28 - AWAY 

Round 7 marks our final match at the MCG during the regular home-and-away season against the Hawks. 

A must-attend if you: are all about immaculate game day vibes.  

Round 8: GWS Giants, May 4 - HOME 

Sydney Derby XXVII will descend on the SCG with all-important bragging rights on the line.

A must-attend if you: love the rivalry. 

Round 9: Fremantle, May 10 - AWAY 

Our quest for the flag sees the team travel to the wild west for a clash with Fremantle at Optus Stadium. No easy task.  

A must-attend if you: want Friday night plans, or a mid-year break in WA. 

Round 10: Carlton, May 17 - HOME 

Marn Grook at the SCG returns in Round 10 to pay tribute to First Nations people and culture in the exciting annual fixture.  

A must-attend if you: love big games.  

Round 11: Western Bulldogs, May 23 - AWAY 

Kick off your weekend a little early with a game against the Bulldogs at Marvel Stadium. We won by a clutch two-points in our last meeting. It’s set to be another exciting one.  

A must-attend if you: want to catch some footy before our Round 12 bye. 

Round 13: Geelong Cats, June 9 - HOME 

Welcome back! After a well-earned break the boys return to the SCG for a long weekend clash with Geelong.  

A must-attend if you: get the public holiday off work. 

Round 14: Adelaide Crows, June 15 - AWAY 

We’re on the road again to South Australia where it’s a battle of the birds. The Swans take on the Crows in an exciting clash. Adelaide in Adelaide? Challenge accepted. 

A must-attend if you: love when the crowd gets involved.  

Round 15: GWS Giants, June 22 - AWAY 

It’s GWS’ turn to host the Sydney Derby XXVIII and as 2023 proved, anything can happen on enemy territory.  

A must-attend if you: want to fill GIANTS Stadium with red and white. OR want to help us give it to the GIANTS.
