After two weeks on the road the Sydney Swans VFL side will return home for a Friday afternoon clash with the Northern Bullants. Head coach Damian Truslove has named his team ahead of the midday match with Lachlan McAndrew set to return from concussion.

The ruckman was sidelined during Round 7 after failing an HIA test and will re-enter the team after being cleared by doctors. He is joined by James Lugsdin, Hamish Morrison and Koby Grass who were named as emergencies in Round 8.

The team will be looking to rejoin the winner's circle on home territory after falling short to Frankston by 15 points last week. All eyes will be on draftee Will Green who managed 35 hitouts, five clearances and six marks last Friday night, and Jacob Konstanty who has been a prolific goal-kicker this season.

The Swans are no stranger to close matches in 2024, currently sitting 12th on the ladder. Round 7 was won by a single goal on the siren thanks to Luke Parker, Round 6 against the GWS Giants ended with a 10-point margin and Round 4 was a thrilling finish with a 60-point draw with reigning premiers, the Gold Coast Suns.

Take your lunch break early and head down to Tramway Oval - across from the SCG - from 12:05pm on Friday to catch all of the action. It's FREE to watch.
