One of the Sydney Swans most versatile players, Robbie Fox has re-signed with the club for another season, tying him to the red and white until at least the end of 2025.
Originally rookie-listed in November 2016, Fox has gone on to play 96 games for the Sydney Swans after beginning his football journey in Tasmania.
The 31-year-old is known for his elite running ability and versatility, with the ability to play in the midfield, forward and defence.
Fox says he’s thrilled to have signed on with the Swans for a further season.
“I just love where this group is heading, so I’m really pleased to have added another year on my contract,” Fox said.
“I feel right at home at this footy club. I love the lads I play with, and the coaching staff have been excellent for my development so I’m really grateful to them as well.
“I think we’re on the right track and I’m looking forward to seeing what we can build together.”
Sydney Swans Executive General Manager AFL Football, Leon Cameron, said Fox is an important member of the side.
“As we’ve seen over the past couple of seasons, Robbie the coaching staff a lot of flexibility in the roles he can play,” Cameron said.
“Robbie is also one of those players who puts team success first, so he’s happy to do any role which is given to him, which is something we value highly.
“I look forward to seeing what Robbie can deliver with this group in the next couple of seasons.”
