Star Swan Isaac Heeney has polled his first perfect 10 from the coaches in season 2025.

The midfielder was prolific in Sydney's 16-point win over Carlton on Friday night, recording a career-high 38 disposals to go with 10 clearances and two goals.

His best on-ground performance was also recognised with the Goodes-O'Loughlin medal, which was awarded on the night. 

Fellow midfielder Chad Warner also caught the eye of the coaches, receiving eight votes for his important role in the Swans' win, notching 30 disposals and kicking two majors. 

Tall Brodie Grundy received five votes for his dominant performance in the ruck, which included 47 hitouts and a goal.

Defender James Jordon's lockdown role on Sam Walsh earned him one vote to round out the vote getters for Sydney.

The AFL Coaches Association’s AFL Champion Player Award is an award voted by the 18 coaching panels on a 5,4,3,2,1 basis after each home and away game, acknowledging outstanding effort by an individual player in a season.
