The Sydney Swans will travel to Melbourne this weekend for a clash with Narrm at the MCG.

Senior Coach Dean Cox has had to make three changes to his side, with Joel Amartey and Justin McInerney missing the match through suspension and Aaron Francis unavailable for selection under the AFL's concussion protocols.

Taylor Adams re-joins the side for the first time since injuring his hamstring in Round One. The midfielder has spent two weeks in the VFL, impressing last week against Carlton with 29 possessions and seven marks.

Tall Hayden McLean has been named on the interchange bench, while Captain Callum Mills will make his long-awaited return after being sidelined with injury since pre-season. The midfielder completed restricted minutes in last week's VFL clash with Carlton - just over one half - and finished with 20 disposals and three tackles.

Joining McLean and Adams on the bench are Oliver Florent, Angus Sheldrick and James Jordon, with the Swans' substitute to be confirmed an hour before the first bounce.

Ned Bowman, Caleb Mitchell, and Ben Paton move from the extended bench to the emergency list.

Port Adelaide v Sydney Swans

Round 15

Adelaide Oval, Adelaide • SA

Speaking to Sydney Swans Media, Cox said Mills and Adams would bring valuable experience to the side.

"I think last week both of those players were really good throughout the whole game," Cox said.

"Callum only played two and a bit quarters, but Taylor played a full one and did what he had to do.

"Both of their experience will be vital for the MCG come Sunday."

The Swans will run out onto the MCG for the first time this season and will face a buoyed Narrm side who come into the match off a 10-point victory over reigning premiers Brisbane.

Cox said Narrm were in great form and would prove a big challenge.

"They're playing some really good footy, you know, obviously their contest and clearance work is really strong," Cox said.

"When you have Petracca and Oliver and obviously what Max (Gawn) has done the last month is really turn their season around by some of his performance, so there's damaging players.

"Pickett coming up and getting back around the goals is really lively, so we can't wait."
