Isaac Heeney's dominant Round 22 performance was recognised by the coaches, following Sydney's two-point win over Brisbane on Saturday.

The star midfielder polled ten votes for his performance against the Lions, where he notched 23 disposals and kicked a game-high five goals.

Heeney kicked four goals in the first half and ended the match with 10 score involvements.

It is the third time this season that Heeney has claimed ten votes, the midfielder also topping the votes in Rounds 10 and 19.

For the second week in a row, Nick Blakey has impressed the coaches and polled four votes for his performance. Blakey showed off his quick feet, ending the game with 20 disposals and 674 metres gained.

It was the week for midfielders to shine, with Angus Sheldrick polling three votes and Errol Gulden polling one vote.

Both players hit the scoreboard and were influential in the contest, with Shelrick notching 26 disposals and Gulden 29.

Every week, the two senior coaches for each game give votes on a 5-4-3-2-1 basis, meaning 10 votes is the maximum a player can get in each round.
