A heartbreaking two-point loss against the Crows on the weekend, what did you make of the game?

Whilst it was heartbreaking not to come away with the four points, we were really happy with the way we attacked the game. We had a clear plan that we wanted to execute and for the majority of the time we did that which was really pleasing.

What positives will you take out of the match and bring against North this weekend?

The girls will have plenty of confidence going into North that we can match it against the best sides. The ability to compete against a hardened side will set us in good stead for this week.

Laura Gardiner had another fantastic game, how important is her role in the midfield?

Laura was exceptional on the weekend. Her running capacity is through the roof, but she works so hard on her game and is constantly looking for ways to be better which is what you love in a player. She sets a really high standard for us in the midfield.

North Melbourne’s midfield is as tough as they come, do you have a plan for Jas Garner and Ash Riddell?

Both Ash and Jas are high-quality players. We will have our work cut out against them but we will plan to do it as a unit.

Sarah Steele-Park made her debut on Sunday, how did you see her performance?

Sarah was fantastic in her debut game. She played her role beautifully and gave the girls a huge amount of energy by being in the team. She is a ripper!
