On the win against Carlton

"We were really disappointed with our last month of footy and we know that that's certainly not Swans footy, so to be able to dish out a four-quarter, really strong, team performance like that against a really quality side in Carlton just fills us with a lot of belief and obviously now we can take that through to the Dees this week."

On the team's belief that they could turn things around after four straight losses

"I think when you lose four in a row, obviously it's always very disappointing and there's always a little bit of soul-searching that might go on, but I think we know as a list and as a team, we have certainly got the talent here, we've got the leadership, we've got the system. It's just sometimes about executing that and having trust in one another to execute and everyone to play their role, and I think on the weekend, we all really did that. We executed our role from top to bottom, from the 21 that played to the whole squad and I think that is what we've probably gained a little belief from, is that we have a great list, we've got so many talented players, but at the end of the day, we all need to go out there and execute and I think we certainly built that belief on the weekend, which is really exciting."

On not relying on one or two players to win

"Zippy and Mon, the list goes on, the talent is endless at the Swans and I think that is our point of difference and it is really exciting and we love playing with these players and I love seeing them take three or four bounces running through the corridor. But at the end of the day, we need to be able to do that consistently to win games consistently and to be a sustainable and successful team, we are not a team that wants to rely just on Zippy or just on Mon or just on Chloe.  think the more players that we can bring into our game and into our system, we're going to generate sustained success and we're really, obviously, grateful to have those sorts of talent in our team and to showcase that sort of talent, but it's definitely not the only way the Swans win."

On how she compares North Melbourne to Sydney

"We've got a really young list, and as much as we've got so much talent on our list, like not super experienced and I think there's no sort of shortcuts to gaining that experience, unfortunately. Sometimes you do have to go through those lessons and learn from those lessons and they make you better. And North Melbourne have been through those lessons too and we're seeing their incredible success now, which is unbelievable and a full credit to Darren Crocker and their organisation, but they have also gone through all of those lessons and built a really strong culture and really strong foundation and I think we have that here at the Swans too. But unfortunately, sometimes there are no shortcuts and we don't want to take shortcuts. As long as we're learning from that month of footy and we can take all those learnings forward and be a better team and be better teammates and be a better programme altogether, then I think we're in really good stead for the future, not just this season, but for seasons to come."

On Melbourne

"When it comes to the week by week, game by game situation, we certainly do take it that week by week. I think there's no more important time to do that right now. The Demons are a really quality side, they've been successful for a very long time. They've got really strong leadership. They've got a great coach, really good system.  So we know it's going to take our absolute best footy and our best team footy and really it's just all focus on the Dees and then we'll move on from there."

On whether the team will look at Fremantle's win over Melbourne

"I think Scotty always wants us to play our way and our system and Swan's footy and that really doesn't change depending on our opposition but of course we're going to look at what Freo did to dismantle the Dees. Fremantle are a quality side as well, trying to find that consistency as well.  Like I said, the Dees are a really drilled side.
So for them to be able to get the win over them is pretty special and something that we'll definitely look at and I guess study quite hard, but ultimately it does fall back on our system and playing our way and doing it all together and I think that will probably be the focus going into the Dees."
