The Sydney Swans are saddened to learn of the passing of former South Melbourne player Brian Bennett, who passed away on October 20 at the age of 88.

Bennett wore the number 15 guernsey and played 40 games for South Melbourne between 1960 and 1962. His teammates included Bob Skilton and Ron Clegg.
