The Sydney Swans 2025 AFLW Club Champion Dinner, presented by QBE Insurance, will be held on Friday, December 5 as we celebrate the milestone and achievements of our squad.
Four accolades will be awarded to athletes across the evening, recognising excellence both on and off the field. Read on to learn more about the criteria and past winners of each award.
2025 AFLW Club Champion

AFLW Club Champion
Following each game, the coaching staff award votes to players based on their performance for that round. The votes are on a 5-4-3-2-1 basis. The player with the most votes at the conclusion of the season is named the AFLW Club Champion.

AFLW Players’ Player Award
A peer-voted accolade with each member of the team awarding votes on a 3-2-1 basis following home-and-away and finals matches.

AFLW Best Club Person Award
Awarded to a player who embodies the club’s values both on and off the field.

AFLW Rising Star Award
Decided by the Match Committee to recognise young talent. To be eligible for the award a player must be 21 years or under and have not played more than 12 games at the commencement of the season.

The evening will also include the announcement of the 2025 Dean Moore Award recipient:
Now in its second year, the Dean Moore Award is peer nominated recognising a Sydney Swans staff member who has best embodied the club’s values of respect, discipline, courage and conviction.
